The emotional stress resulting from our own erroneous beliefs, problematic relationships, and stressful life circumstances can lead to exhaustion and a decrease in the pleasures of everyday life. I firmly believe that my pragmatic therapeutic style and clinically proven treatment approaches can be highly instrumental in helping you learn effective ways to resolve your emotional pain, and develop practical skills and effective coping styles to ultimately take charge of your own mental health. The central focus of my practice is the treatment of relationship issues including marital/couples issues and parent-child conflicts, Depression, anxiety, trauma, and anger control problems.

The above mentioned psychological problems often originate, in part, from factors such as lack of knowledge, deficient communication and social skills, distorted thought patterns, maladaptive personality styles, low self-esteem, resentments associated with childhood abuse, emotional neglect, and partner abuse, or a devastating loss of any kind.

Since psychological problems are often complex and diverse, I carefully select the treatment approaches and therapeutic styles that may strongly enhance the ability of my patients to learn and apply new skills more effectively in resolving their inner turmoil as well as stressful relationship issues to turn their cherished dreams into reality.

Counseling Philosophy

The overwhelming emotional strain resulting from the unavoidable difficult life circumstances, emotionally traumatic past experiences, or conflictual / abusive relationships can lead to exhaustion, diminished ability to cope with everyday life, and development of certain psychological conditions over time that require treatment.

The foundation of my therapeutic work is embedded in my belief that, if provided a right treatment opportunity in a safe and confidential therapeutic environment, each one of us has a strong potential to resolve complex psychological issues and develop effective ways of coping with everyday life to achieve greater satisfaction and meaningfulness.

The central focus of my practice is the provision of psychotherapy treatment for conditions originating mainly from the emotionally overwhelming experiences such as childhood physical, emotional or sexual abuse, sexual assault, domestic abuse, marital/couple issues, divorce and separation, sudden unexpected death of loved one and the devastating loss of any kind. Such experiences may result in helplessness, guilt, or low self-esteem.

Since psychological problems are often complex and diverse, I carefully select the therapeutic approaches and styles that best meet the needs of my patients to help them achieve their treatment goals.
